CEMVO Scotland have a database network of over 600 ethnic minority voluntary sector organisations throughout Scotland. They currently provide a range of support to the ethnic minority voluntary sector, including social enterprise. It is within their social enterprise area of work that CEMVO are seeking to develop a small pool of freelance consultants throughout Scotland that they will be able to draw upon to provide social enterprise business development support to ethnic minority organisations / groups. We are looking for an artist with skills in Ceramics and an artist with skills in Glasswork to support our ‘Connect’ and ‘Aspire’ participants, starting the week commencing 23 January through to the week beginning 16th April 2012. Volunteers should be able to commit between 3 to 5 hours per week. ‘Create’ Saturday workshops: we have two opportunities from 10am to 12 noon to work with our young artists aged 5 – 12 years and two opportunities from 1pm to 4pm to support young people aged 12 - 25 years. These positions run from Saturday 28th January – 24th March 2012 All these positions are based at our workshop in Trongate 103 where we have specialist resources for ceramics and glasswork.
